Overview
How It Works
Are You a Potential Customer?

Once a contract is completed, the REnU is scheduled for recovery. A service team comes to your home and uninstalls all equipment. The Company will replace the roofing material where the solar array infringed upon the roof and will re-plaster or caulk all holes that were created by the mounting structures. Finally, the team will reconnect the utility meter directly to the consumer junction box and test the connection. Citizen is not responsible for damages or general wear-and-tear to the house or surrounding structures and fixtures that was not cause by the REnU or the decommissioning of the REnU.

As an alternative, Citizen may offer you the opportunity to buy-out the REnU once the contract is completed. The Company will first assess the performance capabilities of the REnU to determine a parts warranty. We will then value the system based upon its remaining life expectancy to establish a price and performance guarantee.

The Buy-Out offer is for parts only. The Company may also offer an O&M contract, but this will be considered an additional service and therefore will have its own terms and fees. Lastly, if a customer were to decide to buy-out the REnU from the Company, the customer is relieving Citizen of the responsibility of removing the REnU at the end of its useful life.

The customer can always contact Citizen to remove the REnU at anytime; nevertheless, this will be billed as a separate service.
