Citizenrē fully monitors every system, to ensure its performance. Because our controller reports to us on a daily basis, we – in turn – are able to provide to you daily reports via our web portal on the performance of your REnU. The report lets you know how much power from your REnU you used, how much was delivered to your utility, and how much energy you received from the utility when the REnU was not generating electricity. This monitoring and reporting system is a very important feature, as it helps you to both monitor your electricity usage and understand how your REnU’s output is credited by your electric utility.
Besides the daily accountings of energy, the web portal also provides monthly historical reports and year-to-date data. If you are a customer for more than a year, then you will also enjoy the annual historical reports and the additional comparative analysis between the years.
Citizenrē’s reporting also extends into your monthly rental bill. In the event that you do not have access to the world-wide web, your monthly data – again, the power generated by your REnU, the power used, the power delivered to the utility, and the electricity derived from the utility – is all plainly itemized for your convenience.
For those customers with access to the world-wide web, Citizenrē offers the option to receive online statements and thereby reduce the amount of paper received. Online statements are viewable – and printable, if so desired – through the web portal and will be archived for up to 3 years. The online statements will show the status of a payment and how payment was treated once received. At any time, a customer may elect to either receive a paper bill or an electronic bill; however, paper bills may not be available until the following month, whereas electronic bills will be available immediately.
Payment of your monthly rent will be due 15 days after the bill is issued. You will have the option to set-up an automatic debit, make payment via credit or check card, or tender a physical check to the local Citizenrē service provider.
If a customer fails to make payment within 15 days of issuance, the customer will receive a notice of pending default. If the pending default is not corrected within 30 days, a notice of default will be issued. Once a notice of default has been issued, Citizenrē has the right to recover the REnU at its discretion. For more information about default and remedies, please review the Termination and Alternative Options section in the Forward Rental Agreement.
